Q. Are there any fees?
A. There are no fees for the services.
 
Q. What are the hours of operation?
A. 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. The center is closed every Friday.
 
Q. Where is the Carson Career Center located?
A. The center is located at Carson Career Center, 801 E Carson Street, Room 117,  Carson, CA 90745. It is located next door to the Juanita Millender-McDonald Community Center (formerly the Carson Community Center) (310) 952-1762.
 
Q. What should I bring?
A. An updated resume and identification.
 
Q. Do I have to be a college graduate?
A. No.
 
Q. What are the general services?
A. Internet accessible computers, fax, copy, and job search assistance.
 
Q. Does the Center offer vocational training?
A. Yes, the Center offers vocational/classroom training to eligible Carson residents when funds are available.
Q. Do you administer typing tests?
A. Yes, the Carson Career Center administers typing tests by appointment only. Call (310) 952-1762.
 
Q. Are there resume services available?
A. There are pamphlets and computer software available to assist with creating a resume.
